Here’s a cheat sheet for the menu items

DOSA: thin and crispy crepes made with fermented rice and lentil batter

JINNI: Hindi, for “small”

PANEER: fresh cheese cubes with a firm and spongy body

PURI: a small fried flour shell, often used in chaats 

SEV: fine and crispy chickpea noodles

SAMOSA: a triangle-shaped potato and pea-filled spiced pastry, deep-fried to perfection

CHANA DAL: split Bengal gram

VADA: a fritter stuffed with spiced potato 

KHAKHRA: a thin, crispy flatbread made from wheat flour and various spices, roasted until it becomes crunchy and golden
